Well, maybe you could get one or two of the films through netflix, and see what you think. That set was a real discovery for me.

Will definitely try for Wings of Desire, Monsoon Wedding, Repulsion, Grey Gardens, The Passion of Joan of Arc, and Hiroshima, Mon Amour (which was yanked out of my hands last time because they couldn’t get it in time or something…). Will have to watch some more Kurosawa and Bergman before I decide to go whole-hog and get Yojimbo/Sanjuro and Faith Trilogy box sets (although, being severely afraid of spiders I still might forgo the latter; that cover creeps me out). Maybe some Melville and Godard too. If my wallet can handle it.

After reading yesterday that another sale was happening in two weeks, I immediately started a wish list. I have been on air ever since that post yesterday. And out of curiosity, I came back to this thread this morning to see if anyone else started a list. Surprise!—or perhaps not!!—many of us did.
