HELP! Compiling clips and images and need...

Hi guys

I need your expertise. Can anyone think of a french new wave film (or a film by a french new wave director, if these are separable ideas) in which there is a scene where the characters are watching a movie or television? The screen of either must be clearly visible with the character in the shot. I’ve been able to find a few where the camera flickers from the movie screen to the audience, but that doesn’t really do me any good. I have a feeling, therefore, that a television shot might be more useful.

Preferrably not something from the Antoine Doinel cycle (I know there is that scene in Antoine & Colette where they are watching tv)…

thanks ever so much, in advance!

Le Mepris by Godard

Also possibly Masculin/Feminin but it might be too movie theaterish if it’s there at all.
