Where did you first hear or read about The Auteurs? If you found the site through another member what is their profile URL?

I was invited by another site member. There was also a mentioning of this page in Argentina´s most important film magazine HaciendoCine.

HA!

I followed a link on slashfilm or something to the Fake Criterion thread, and I never left.

Criterion, when it moved into alliance with The Auteurs. I think I got a name pretty soon after that happened, but I didn’t really start using it until March, I think.

I found theauteurs.com through a personal invitation from Martin Scorsese. He basically forced me into all of it. Damn you Marty!

Believe it or not, I found The Auteurs through an interview the creators had with Wired magazine. Insane, I know.

The same with me, Grey Daisies. He can be quite obstrusive when he wants people to join this site.

Plus my gal friend Sasha Grey joined too so I was like why not?

I’m Sam ^ [ :

I found theauteurs via Criterion’s site as well. Was wanting to read the essay that came with the RoboCop DVD I’m not lucky enough to own and ended up in a thread here where everyone was like, “OMG ROBOCOP IS SO NOT CRITERION MATERIAL!!!” Pssshaw. Joined with the intent to E-kill ’em all.

I actually found it through my obsession with Kim Ki-young which led me to follow Scorsese’s and WCF’s efforts to restore The Housemaid.

Criterion, but the real question is how do I find Sasha Grey?

Mike, just go downtown if you want what Sasha Grey has to offer.
