Beautiful, Ravishing.

The narrative is barely there, and in very thin strands. That being said, it is very well paced, considering that it is a movie that does not have a ton of editing or camera moves, although that is not to say that the camerawork is static in any way. If this film was longer than the 93 minute running its pacing could have become a problem.

On its surface, the film seems very simple, but I think that further viewings will be fruitful investments.

Noted. I need to see more African cinema, and this is now on my list.

Did you watch the Sansho, yet?

Waiting for Happiness was fine, and probably better than my initial impression, but Sansho the Bailiff is at the top.
