Honestly, this is one of my most anticipated films of the year. With a master like Martin Scorsese (for my money, the greatest living director) at the helm and a screenplay written by John Logan (who wrote The Aviator, one of my favorite movies), and actors like Ben Kingsley and Chloe Moretz, this movie has “greatness” written all over it. In my opinion, Scorsese hasn’t made a bad movie since Boxcar Bertha, and that’s a unbelievable track record. I’ll be shocked if this isn’t good or great. As far as the 3D is concerned, I may not be the biggest proponent, but what the hell? Scorsese has earned the right to experiment with 3D, and who knows? Perhaps he’ll be the one to do something interesting with it.
I totally agree Spencer. It’s just really exciting to have a family film coming out with actual meat on it’s bones.

glad to see the support from other directors for Marty’s latest. Perhaps it could clean up at the Oscars.
