I have no idea which film you’re talking about. Mysterious…

I guess Jeanne Dielman, Human Condition, Z, or Wings of Desire.

TheAuteurs needs to fix this little bug or whatever it is.

Oh dear. How silly of me. I was thinking for some strange reason that this would be directly posted on a certain movie’s page. The new Jeunet film to be exact.
It wasn’t meant to be so mysterious.

I find it strange that we occasionally get threads like this at the auteurs. Someone says something like, “When is this coming out on DVD?”, or in this case, “I simply cannot wait for this to be released.” No proper nouns involved.

it’s because when someone is on the page for a film and they click on start a new topic, the thread title isn’t followed by “in Such-and-Such”. and since it’s impossible to edit a thread title once it is posted, it becomes a bit of a mystery.

perfectly understandable, i’m surprised this hasn’t been fixed yet.

Thanks, RUS and Nicole for clearing the mystery up. I’d always thought there were just some strange class of people on this site who didn’t get nouns taught to them in elementary school.

Stupid me thought the film was actually named Hurrah.

Please tell me I’m not the only one…

Hurrah, directed by James Cameron:

This 20 minute short is a single P.O.V. shot of Cameron’s perspective of the audience at the academy awards ceremony where he won for Titanic. The film gradually slows down as Cameron warns us that he is “The King of the World.” Instead of credits, the names of all the great filmmakers who never won are scrolled. The title, Cameron explains in commentary, is ironic.

Here is a trailer to help things along. Looks like fun. The City of Lost Children is on my favorites list.
