Wildebeests over Tumbleweeds
I’m with Bolo Tie, Once Upon a Time in America over The Godfather
A fistful of Dollars over Yojimbo
On most occasions
Mifune and Eastwood are equal to me in their role, I just prefer Leones visual style a little more

Watching films over being and interacting with other people.
And I’m with you Boss, I do prefer A Fistful of Dollars over Yojimbo, but I’ve only seen Yojimbo twice, I plan to watch more Kurosawa films, including a rewatch of Yojimbo, over this year. Apart from Leone’s visual style, I also adore Morricone’s scores. Wonderful!
King King (2005) over King King (1933)
Ah yes that score does have alot to do with it as well. Not to say I prefer westerns in general over Kurosawa, Seven Samurai outshines (and rightfully so) its western re-imagining.
Ebert prefers Goodfellas.
Just sayin’.
Kill Bill Vol 2 over Vol. 1
Dark City over The Matrix
and @K, I’m with you re: Hot Fuzz
color over b+w
The Departed over Goodfellas.
Ebert prefers Haggis’ CRASH over any other movie released that year.
Just sayin’.

Kanal over Ashes and Diamonds
Amacord over 8 1/2
The Testament of Dr.Mabuse over M
Vampyr over Gertrud
Peanut Butter over Jelly

Most movies over “2001: A Space Odyssey”.
I know it’s wrong.
I also like Ovaltine more than hot chocolate.
Sue me.
Actually, that last post I wrote … I really feel that way, and I don’t know it’s wrong. Because it’s not wrong.
