:)))))))
I too saw this. I have a Redbox kiosk about three blocks from my place, so I go occasionally to pick up something I might have missed. Last night I got Winter’s Bone. If you think Redbox is annoying, you might consider that they’ve been the final nail in Blockbuster’s coffin. Who in their right mind is going to pay $5 for a movie when they could go to Redbox and get the same movie for $1? At this point, Blockbuster has lost the mail service market to Netflix, and they are so far behind Redbox for the automated kiosk that they might as well not try.
Awesome.
So many redbox mom-families are going to get so frustrated.
Hilarious.
I’m really glad that Sony Pictures Classics picked up this movie and gave it such wide distribution. It was a bizarre yet wonderful experience to go see an Alain Resnais film at my local multiplex.
Or enlightened?
My misanthropy is continually at war with my optimism. Occasionally I’ll arm one with a mace to make things more interesting. Those things really hurt.
Hopefully this is a start of a full on indie invasion and annexation of Redbox…
Something like this, Hou?

Well, don’t get too excited yet, people; Redbox has also started renting video games. Also, they still put out those weird cartoons of Super Mario and Sonic.
^^ EXACTLY.
Red Box is where I rent my wife movies, since I hog the Netflix account. I’m actually very surprised they have Wild Grass at all.
But if you’re ever in the mood for Octopus Vs. Megashark, Redbox is your go-to spot.
+500 points to Josh for using one of Francisco Goya’s “Black Paintings”.
Drunken Father Figure of Old
Yes, at a redbox! So I guess that makes their company slightly less annoying? I wonder how many people have rented it.
