Saw it way back in January. It’s amazing; Ianucci sacrifices very little in making the transition to the big screen. The Scotsmen steal the show — the English language has rarely been turned into so indiscriminate a weapon.

It’s a rarity—a satire that fully works. My only criticism is that the frantic camera-work is better suited to television, and paradoxically decreases the realism Ianucci’s going for.
Ianucci appeared in person at the film’s SFIFF screening and said that he’d like to make a slapstick comedy—he’s a big fan of What’s Up Doc? and wanted to do something in a similar vein.

Has anyone seen In the Loop yet? I wondered if maybe it had already gotten a UK release. The trailer, which is on Apple, is entertaining as hell. Hope the film is good.
