Ingmar Bergman week in Fårö (for anyone interested)

Every summer we celebrate Ingmar Bergman here in Gotland and Fårö, Sweden (where I live and grew up).
As You fans might know he shot “The Passion of Anna”, “Shame”, “Persona” and “Through a Glass Darkly” in Fårö.
I first started to appreciate this Island after watching these movies, a couple of years ago. I guess I never saw the beauty in this lanskape, because I have been used to it, and now kind of see it “from another angle”.

My way of celebrating him this week is to watch his movies and.. Start another topic to discuss the work of Bergman.

I am planning to go there this fall, maybe. It all depends on time and funds. I did go to the Tarkovsky one in France but i have been trying to find Bresson’s one for quite some time.
