Does anyone want to discuss or talk about Ingrid Bergman?. I think she had worked with so many great directors. Another thing that make her special is that she had been in so many different movies. I mean there aren´t many actors that first has worked in swedish films, then in films like Casablanca and Gaslight in Hollywood, after that she did something totally different and worked with Rossellini. I have don´t seen her films with Rossellini but they seems special in many ways. After her break-up with Rosselini she continued to work with fantastic directors and in many diffrent films like Renoirs Elena and her men, big box-office hits like Cactusflower and Murder on the orientexpress. She worked with Ingmar Bergman in what I think is one of Ingmars best movies Autumn sonata. Her last role was like Golda Meir, the Israeli prime minister in A woman called Golda. She also made three films with Hitchcock: Spellbound, Notorious and Under capricorn. She has been involved in many movements of the film history, Hollywoods golden age, italian neo-realism and many otehr things, I think that´s interesting and it would be fun to talk about her and her films. What films do you like best with her?
I haven´t seen many of her films jet but my favourite is Autumn sonata but Gaslight and Notorious are also very good, but I don´t like Casablanca.
