Hi!

My name is XXIIRII, 20 years old.

Last year I´ve got my Canon 5D MK II and since then I´ve been working hard trying to show how my head works. Contacting with differents musicians and working really hard on my free time, I finally feel that I made 4 pieces of video that represents exactly who I´m.

A collaboration with the american artist, Brian Green.

A collaboration with the australian artist, Little-scale.

A collaboration with the french artist, Pix.

Finally, a tribute to my childhood town

Really looking forward to listen your opinions, thanks for watching!

Thanks Odilonvert!

Glad you enjoy it Dylan Ibrahim! At that time I was living alone there in London and I thought it was a good way to express all the new things that were happening and changing on me.

I loved your videos. The cinematography in all of them are fantastic, but I"m wondering if in the first two videos that was attributed to the artists you collaborated with, or that aspect was fully in your control. Could you possibly just kinda talk about the nature of those and talk about inspiration and such? Also, I really enjoyed the last video. The pacing was terrific and… well honestly I loved everything about it, fantastic work.

I too am 20, so now you’re showing me that I’ve got some catching up to do :)

Your vision is a gift. And as others had said, your video is very well done in lighting.

Why don’t you try to shoot a short film (with story)? I think you’ll gain more experiences about how a cameraman (or DOP) work in filmmaking. It’s very different from shooting experimental video art. Not only you must let your vision come out, you must also control it to add a soul in to a story. Lens’ effect, camera movement, everything has a language. I really want to see how you’ll bloom in that field. ^^

Thanks Kkukshtel for your kind words :D

I´ve been following little.scale for a long time. After feeling that I was comfortable enough with the camera I mailed him telling if we could use his track Visual Confirmation for a video. After that, I was on my own and every time we got any new footage I send him some screenshot to let him know how it was going. The ideas basically came itself just listening to the song. For that one I wanted to film what happens on my head when I listen to certain music so I decided to drop any visual that the song told me. Then I just told the idea to two of my closest friend who agreed to appear as the main characters and step by step, using our freetime, during 3-4 months we finally got it done! If you feel curious about how we did I think the making speaks for itself :P

Then when I released the video, Brian Green contacted me showing his work. I´ve never worked with anything similar. I´ve always worked with short clips and this time I needed to stop myself and think in shots than last more than Then ideas and the people worked the same way just working with friends or people I met at university :)

Really appreciate all the great feedback!

Thanks Huu-Tuan Nguyen!

Narrative films is something totally new for me. I worked on some musicvideos or fashion ones but still never on a short-film before. Just sound and no music, it can bring lots of new things to explore! I´m sure I´ll feel totally naked haha.

Thanks again for all the support :D
