I am two and a half months away from the end of my contract, have 12 days of leave left remaining on it, and am assuredly dedicating it to fulfilling a long, long dream of mine to visit Japan. Specifically I intend to hang out in the Tokyo and Kyoto areas. However, a friend who was going to go with me may be bailing and I was figuring one thing that could help me organize my trip if I end up traipsing around by myself is to visit a film festival there.
Does anybody have any advice/information/etc about festivals happening in those regions around that time? I am definitely looking into it myself but if any of you happened to know of Neat Stuff off-hand, then send it my way. Keep in mind I speak less Japanese than a cat speaks Tamil, so unfortunately I’ll need some sort of festival assuming English speakers will be laying about…
