According to IMDb on Old Joy she used an Aaton A-minima camera and Zeiss lenses. Also according to IMDb she used an Arriflex 16 SR3 (Canon lenses) on Wendy and Lucy and an Arriflex 35 BL3 and Arricam LT (Cook S4 lenses) on Meek’s Cutoff. All of them were printed on 35mm and her last two used a digital intermediate.
That’s all according to IMDb, so…
@ Sakamoto
Thanks! I feel dumb now. I didn’t realize that was all available on IMDB.
Helps a lot anyway!
Cheers!
Yeah, I would still hope someone confirms this because I’m wary of information on IMDb but that’s what they say.
If someone actually took the time to write that on IMDb, it should be accurate.
This appears to be the case, at least for Wendy and Lucy:

Thanks everybody!
I don’t really know anything about the technical side of cinematography, but I think he films shot incredibly well, especially Meek’s Cutoff. I really like the narrow aspect ratio as well.
HEDONIST
I know ‘Old Joy’ was shot on super 16mm but can anyone else give me any more specific information on the cinematography for this film and/or any other of Reichardt’s films?
The still of her shows her using an Arriflex. Is this what she used on the film?
Lenses? Etc. ?
Any help is much appreciated — all you American Cinematographer subscribers I’m talking to you.
Thanks and sorry for the randomness!
