Yes I would, thank you.
I would be very interested. I love Martel’s work, in particular The Holy Girl which is a really great film and very almost a masterpiece.
Thank you! :D
Yes, definitely. I’m always interested to hear her thoughts.
Lucky man, Jose. Add my name to the list.
Indeed. I have only seen her getting interviewed.
Thanks, Jose. Can’t wait!
Yes !
Absolutely.
Great. I’ll post the interview next week. Cheerio.
what is she doing next?
I’ll be interested in reading the interview. Her filmography is on my watch list.
Yep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tell her she is my homegirl.
Please do translate. I’m a big Headless Woman fan.
Of course. But post the two versions Jose, spanish and english. Thanks.
José, How was the interview? How was she? Please tell us about it
Jose! Lucky man! Ugh I wish I had seen this post earlier, I would have asked you to ask her what her feelings are about the indigenous South American people of Argentina, her portrayals of them in her films (especially in La Mujer sin Cabeza) are very interesting. Surely she must have some strong opinions on them, their influence in the culture, and their role in society.
I love hearing the complex opinions on indigenous South Americans by South Americans of European descent who live privileged lives.
I’m currently traslating the interview. Patience my friends!!!. I’ll post it on Cinema 21/Garage soon.
Thank you for the interview, Jose!
Martel is definitely one of the most important artists, thinkers, filmmakers, etc. today who is ethically thinking about and questioning new production and distribution structures.
Forget Iñárritu and del Toro.
Cinema 21/Garage soon
I enjoyed this interview. Thanks! Lucrecia Martel is one of my favorite working filmmakers.
Jose Sarmiento Hinojosa
