What about Fincher or John Sayles? Will they ever get works by these guys in the catalogue?
Did Hulu just make El Sur available? (That, alone, might make me get back on.)
Fincher?

Costa-Gavras’ THE CONFESSION is also available!
Pandora’s Box , The Passion Of Joan Of Arc,The Exterminating Angel and some Chaplin films are available too :D
42 new Criterion titles have been added to Hulu Plus.
Of note are ‘The Man Who Left His Will on Film’ by Oshima, a few more Ozu silent films and a bunch of Fassbinder films as well as more Japanese titles most people are unfamilier with.
Happy viewing!

A new Rossellini film!!!!! I know where I’m off to now.
At $7.99/month, Hulu is without a doubt the single best single fucking cinema viewing bargain on the internet now. And they stream all of these films in HD.
I’m not sure if the is the right place to write this but 90 percent of criterion is free to watch on hulu from now till monday.
I concur with Jerry: Hulu+ is a treasure trove of cinema delights. There’s a bunch of stuff that is not available on dvd, too. I went hog wild over the past several days.
@Matt L
What films from your list really stand out?
And how was Ronin-Gai? I started watching that one, but it looked like a TV movie—both visually, production-wise and the acting. I just got a bad vibe from it, so I stopped.

Just what does Criterion have under license? Quite a bit.
They’ve got a pretty thorough offering of Japanese cinema up there and it keeps coming
Two English Girls
Saura’s Peppermint Frappe
Erice’s El Sur !!!!
early Chaplin
… going to be quite a while before any of this is released on Blu or even DVD.
