Forget Mac and Me, the entirety of BYE BYE LOVE (that piece of crap Paul Reiser film from the 1990s) is an advertisement for McDonalds and how McDonalds brings families together (besides being a wonderful place to work). Incidentally, BYE BYE LOVE might just be one of the worst films ever made if anyone bothered to see it.
Never actually seen MOTHMAN PROPHECIES with Rodent officianado Richard gere years ago but the ONLY thing I do remember is the blatant CHAPSTICK product plac ement in the commercial!!! what a vicious cycle that is…
Well Ari, I’ve gotta say, that looks like the best/funniest movie ever made. I’ll definitely be checking it out VERY soon.
The only second of runtime I remember from Inspector Gadget (with Matthew Broderick) is the Yahoo billboard falling on somebody while the short yodeling theme plays.
@Jardun- When you talk about Nascar, you’re talking about product placement, so all the products are part of the joke, Nascar is blatant in its use of “sponsors.”
I think that’s part of what makes that movies use of it so ingenious. He sells his windshield for god’s sake. haha
