It depends on which Coppola were talking about here.
-Father: Tetro
-Daughter: Marie Antoinette
Youth Without Youth
The Cotton Club and Rumblefish.
Tetro for sure. Not many people have actually seen it outside of his fanbase.
“Is “The Conversation” underrated? I think it is a great film but no one ever talks about it.”
Not underrated from a critical point of view. It pops up regularly on most of those ‘movies you have to see’ lists to my knowledge. Most cinephiles i know love it; from ‘regular’ types like most of us, to academic types like my old film lecturers. They all loved it too!!! Some even rated it above Blow Up. But to the general public? yeah, it has been forgotten. which is unfortunate.
It’s a toss up between Somewhere and Marie Antoinette.
Tetro is my favorite Coppola film. I was so surprised by it because t didn’t get good reviews. I could care less about the Godfathers.
The Conversation is DEF. underrated from the perspective of your average film-goer/viewer…a LOT of people have not seen it or would even know he did it…
BUT the general consensus would dictate that it’s not underrated at all so I’ll have to go with Tetro. I enjoyed it.
Another one for Tetro.
I would probably go with rumble fish, and don’t shoot me, but i like jack with robin williams.
I would say Rumble Fish 10 years ago….But nowadays it’s One From The Heart for sure
VENIMOS LOS JODIMOS Y NOS FUIMOS
The Godfather part III.
