Also, Touch of Evil is amongst Mancini’s minor works (moreover, doesn’t work as a stand-alone score). The same goes for “Fearless Vampire Killers” (go with his OST for “Knife in the Water”, instead; a jazz goodie). Bacalov’s La Città Delle Donne is nice – the intro theme is awesome! Burwell’s Miller’s Crossing has always sounded unbearably phony to me, even tho it works quite well in the movie.
Anywho, very good calls on Trouble Man (soul classic!) and A Single Man!

I thought this was a recommendation thread of our personal suggestions, my mistake it’s just Dan’s dictated view of scores… This shouldn’t be a hard concept honestly, very simple exercise, especially for Mubi.
@Dan: hmmm yes you’re right, i have terrible taste in music.
Please Michael, forget my recommendations about Mancini and Komeda, Dan is sooo right.
