^ Haha, salvia. eye roll
“Dumbo”… especially if it’s on a drive-in screen at a drive-in theater.
@ ADROCK, in my experience with the two substances, there is not a great discrepancy in terms of the strength of the hallucinations. As far as I know, the acid we have available to us today is not the same stuff that allowed Brian Wilson to become a genius.
As cliche as it may sound, Pink Floyd Live in Pompei (original version) is out of this world. I would also recommend Philippe Garrel’s La cicatrice interieure (The inner scar) and Le berceau de cristal as well as 2001: A Space Odyssey (as previously stated). Contemplative, enigmatic films or good concerts are the best.
This is a completely ridiculous thread. LSD would make any movie enjoyable…
You have a good point here, but I think certain films give a better vibe than others. Inland Empire will actually become good…
Well don’t ask me how I know but 2001 is a good choice but fear and loathing in las vegas is a great one since the story does not matter and you will never know what is part of the movie and what is part of the drug making you see things that are not in the movie. I think the moive was made to be seen while tripping. Happy tripping ROFL
I’d say Hausu / House. The multicolour, sugary aesthetics, surreal comedy horror and bubblegum soundtrack tend to confuse enough people as is, let alone with the influence of psychedelic drug.
This thread is full of fail. [Speaking beyond this thread] Ignorance has long shackled this family of chemicals, as well as those closely related.
Btw, Zabriskie Point is great in this setting.

I’d also say all psych drugs are a hell of a lot more profound than bath salts or meth or whatever new drugs people are taking these days.
