I Agree on that Maria.
Grosse Pointe Blank.
I agree with Lakeview Terrace.
And does anybody like Independence Day as much as I do, or does everyone hate it still?
@MDIAZ033—a also love Grosse Pointe Blank
^ yea crank 1 &2 for sure.
those movies can be called anything but boring.
One of my favorite films. Everyone seems to hate it.
David—I LOVE Suspiria! Just loaned it to somebody who hasn’t seen it. Can’t wait to hear back.
Le Scrameustache, I’m afraid I have to agree with “Everyone”. I hated Tideland, and I love Gilliam.
Land of Plenty
every favorite film of mine :)))
A.I.: Artificial Intelligence.
All my friends, and most MUBI users despise this film based on the last 20 minutes, but I feel it may well be his masterpiece.
Watchmen. The director’s cut, anyway.
ignatz: Hey, I like ‘The Demonic Toys!’ Baby Whoopise Daisy is one of my all time favorite movie villians!
The Doom Generation
Slums of Beverly Hills
Welcome to The Dollhouse
Spun (I thought it was kinda funny..)
The Squid and The Whale
all 4 of the 70’s planet of the apes sequels
“Spun (I thought it was kinda funny..)”
I liked Spun – Frisbee’s interrogation scene is hilarious (cocktail hour?) Also Debbie Harry kicking the shit out of some guy is always a bonus!
Also LOVE The Doom Generation!
I most most of the films mentioned here
soft spot for the wonderful Natasha Lyonne in Slums
I can’t think of a single film that I love that most people hate. Probably the closest I can get is Primer, and even that seems to generally be kinda liked by most people.
Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 … I’m sure I’m the only one who prefers this sequel to the original one.
“I’m sure I’m the only one who prefers this sequel to the original one.”
Nopes, not the only one :)
I really can’t stand the first Blair Witch movie, found the sequel to be surprisingly better made and entertaining… Can’t say that I loved it though.
The Doom Generation thirded! I’d also say that its far superior to the two other films in the trilogy. Arakki should consider being less misanthropic, cause that’s when he makes his best films (Mysterious Skin included)!
@Grey, Just rewatched the first one the other night and was surprised how well it held up, would be interested in hearing your thoughts on the sequel, as I don’t think I enjoyed it much when I saw it years ago.
Peter Jackson’s King Kong
“O.C. and Stiggs” and “Inside Monkey Zetterland.”
“Arakki should consider being less misanthropic . . .”
Kurt: Is misanthropy something you can simply turn off and on? Like a light switch?
Silent Hill but maybe it just because i loved the video games. But i thought it was great film and maybe the only good video game based movie
I hated Blair Witch to i thought it was one of the most boring movies ever made. Although i didn’t really like Blair Witch 2 i thought it was hell alot better then the first.
Lots of people like ‘Welcome To The Dollhouse,’ Dreamlike (if that is your real name (and even if it isn’t)).
“Hudson Hawk” and “Bullseye!”.
Taxidermia – all of my friends think it’s disgusting but I love it!!!
