Oh, Poppy is a great choice! She is the entire movie and one of my favorite titles from the last ten years. Too bad my mind blanked on her for my list.

I think Poppy is a great character and a great performance. So many people I know think that her character is either “not believable” or an “obnoxious caricature” whereas I think she is both believable and layered- I think it was an amazing performance of a person who has a complicated emotional life but is also busy “performing” as many of us do in life. There was a thread a while back about movies one feels one has to always defend, and I think this film has been that for me.
