Someone posted the Japanese soundtrack for the film as a YouTube playlist but it doesn’t have my favorite piece in the film, the one playing during the closing credits. Wikipedia, IMDB, and the AFI Catalog have been no help, and Midomi doesn’t recognize it.
The only other potentially useful bit of information I have is that I remember it being used in Made in USA, which, along with the fact it was left out of the PLF soundtrack, implies it’s a slice of classical music Godard selected rather than a Duhamel composition. I even tried listening to a variety of Eric Satie songs to see if it was one of his pieces but apart from being a gentle piano composition it doesn’t actually match his style very well.
