My Mubi Activites Aren't Showing Up on My FB Timeline Thingy

Change it back to the old way.

Please?

Edit – Yes, I misspelled ’’activities’’. Sorry.

Is your social on?
I don’t like the changes – I can’t see if I have any messages without clicking.

Yes, it’s on.

Also, what happened to the Profile button? Or am I missing something?

Oh, I see what it’s done.

Instead of sending a post to your timeline (like a link or a status update) it simply becomes a small comment in your activities box on your timeline (like when you’ve read a news article.)

And the profile button is in the dropbox menu when you click on that box on the top right corner that says ‘Social.’

Yeah, I’m not a fan.

And it keeps changing. It became a stand alone story in my timeline. It also posted comments you write on the forum.

Needs a bit of calibration. Eh, Mubi?

I liked it when MUBI would post announcements on my facebook wall when I rated films. It doesn’t seem like that’s an option anymore.

Don’t really know if it’s a problem on MUBI’s or Facebook’s end or my computer and internet connection. Keeps on disappearing and reappearing on my profile.

It seems the more pop-ups we have on on our browser screen, the happier we are. It also seems that we’re quite annoyed with the updates on the amazing Mark Zuckerberg site, Facebook. Now my 68 year old aunt, or my sister who studies medical science can’t see how many stars I rated Michael Haneke’s new family comedy because you know, they know who that is. I’m livid that I can’t share my expertise of cinema!

I had the opposite reaction, I was at first afraid that it was going to post everything to my Facebook and relieved when I saw I could turn it off. I really don’t want all my friends to see that I’ve posted a review of an obscure, erotic French film. Just not something I really want to share with everyone I know.

Those are my 68 year old aunt’s favorite posts from here, the erotic French ones.

Ah, thanks Rossoneri. Dunno how I missed that, as I’d opened that menu before…

Now it’s posting my forum posts, but not my movie ratings. That’s the opposite of what I wanted.

I hope we get some more options on how to customize what things the app posts to facebook.

“Now it’s posting my forum posts, but not my movie ratings. That’s the opposite of what I wanted.”

As a workaround, if you have a Twitter account, my ratings are still going to Facebook via Twitter.
