Nick Cassavetes makes me angry.
I’m going to see it tomorrow – not because it looks like a good movie and not because I have a wife who’s making me see it – but because a friend of mine plays one of the kids in it.
And I agree – Nick Cassavetes is the anti-John Cassavetes.
I saw a clip from it and every element of it looked so bad. The writing was cheesy. The acting was overdramatic. The cinematography was poor. No interest.
Cameron Diaz killed it for me. Not interested
John Cassavetes must be rolling in his grave. The apple fell far from the tree.
Thanks, I’m getting excited to watch it everyone.
haha
I did get to see Watchmen and The Hangover, so i’ll put up with My Sister’s Creeper, I mean Keeper
what a fucking ridiculous plot holy shit
Yeah, I’ll definitely take Zoe or Xan over Nick any day (although She’s So Lovely was pretty good…I guess it should be since John wrote it).
@David – Did you see the film? What did you think? I saw it today and it was pretty difficult to sit through. There were some opportunities there for some really interesting moments but I think they just got bogged down in the sappiness of it. It’s not your usual chick flick and Caleb did a great job with the cinematography, given the genre he’s working in. But it just lacked any subtlety and it’s a shame. I know it’s unfair to compare him to his father but I just wish Nick Cassavetes would choose better material.
It was not as awful as this forum is suggesting, the film is actually interesting on some levels…it can also make any stone-hearted prick cry.

I’m going to watch My Sister’s Keeper with my wife tonight…. will it be good?
