Oh, I wish I had started posting here earlier! Tomboy is a mini-masterpiece in my opinion, and The Cool and the Crazy is one of a handful of Bakshi films I still haven’t seen. I’m new here, so I’ve never spoken to you before, but best of luck with your procedure, Dennis. I read about your condition in another thread, and you have my sympathy.

Dennis Brian

Matt if you have netflix you can still watch and join in late.

and thanks for the kind words.

Just throwing this idea out there, if no one likes it that’s cool. I was just thinking about how we can make this slightly more interesting, not that it isn’t, but more like a game. Ok so it’s Ruby’s turn next. She will post her review on Saturday and instead of the next person choosing the film, she will pick a number and whatever film that corresponds with that number of the next persons queue is the one that we watch. Sounds fun, but it’s just a suggestion.

that sounds like a fantastic idea

of course they could just lie and pick the one they want (: but I love the idea

tomas.roges

They could, but I trust the people that have been participating.

I have some pretty embarrassing stuff in my queue so I’d like to see what happens.

ruby stevens

HAHAHA! tommy that’s brilliant!!

tomas.roges

I think it could be hilarious. We’ll see what Bijoux and Lover think. I don’t think they’ll mind.

ruby stevens

i’ve been maxed out a few times haha

Dennis Brian

Brad why dont you play then
it will give you a chance to watch a random film on yr list and do a write up

what is more exciting than that?

Brad S.

I keep meaning to, but those 1000 films already in my queue keep calling to me. I actually did participate with The Manitou and almost again with Queen to Play. I guess I need to be somewhat inspired by the choice picked.

Dennis Brian

well, you can pick one up next week if you like.

Manitou was probably enough to drive you away for a while (:

tomas.roges

Yeah usually both my disc and instant queue are maxed out bu I’ve been doing pretty good with knocking them out or getting rid of stuff that I’ll more than likely need watch.

Ok so the experiment is proving to be fairly interesting. My number 236 on my instant queue is the 2011 film Sidewalls.
