I find hipsters enjoy the conceit of their tastes being all-inclusive, so they often have a habit of finding ways to make areas they don’t like not count.

“Pretentious” is their favorite word for doing so. “I like art. Tree of Life? Oh, it’s not art, it’s pretentious.”
