Reminds me of this book, which helped me a lot with learning to draw photographically when I was a kid (before I abandoned that sort of thing).

Not saying they’re in the same league.
That’s cool. DiB!
House — drawing photographically? How do you mean?
I mean drawing with a pencil and/or charcoal to produce an image that is near-photographic; i.e., as realistic as possible, which involves extreme attention to form and light/shadow.
oh you mean realism
It was a style that I was obsessed with from the time I was young until a college professor challenged me to not be a ‘tight ass’ and I suddenly discovered an entire new world. I’ll always love that man.
Romney to announce VP pick by smartphone app
He knows how to make an app? So he is in touch!
Anyway, what really creeps me out is:
Users who download Romney’s free app are directed to enter their name, email, address, ZIP code and smartphone number. The app also allows Romney’s team to see users’ locations, which could be used to target voters in battleground states.
I guess it’s the same as Obama asking for people’s cell phone numbers in 08, but that was a little creepy too. I wonder if this app is free or if you have to make a 99 cent donation to the Romney campaign…

Depends, it doesn’t hold up after you learn how to read — it is just the alphabet, after all. But it’s very beautifully designed.
You’re not going to be able to see them in great detail, but these images are a hint of what all is there The thing is, the designs along the borders are filled with images of things that begin with the letter on the page, and oftentimes those images are themselves containing more things that begin with that letter, or mix together to become a more things that begin with that letter, and so on. It’s a very detailed work.
