Out of Sync Subtitles

So I managed to procure a copy of Europa ’51, in it’s original Italian version, but I can’t seem to find a working subtitle file. The problem I’m facing is that the subtitles are out of sync with most of the film, and I think they may not be for the correct version. The version I have is 1:52 long, and the subtitle file shows that it should correspond with the film. I’m not sure where to find some subs that will go along with the movie, I’ve tried a few sites now and I keep getting the same defunct file. I was hoping someone here could help me out a bit.

Uhmmm, there are several versions, the last one (edizione restaurata e rimasterizzata) runs 113’.

Try with a search engine, all4divx.com is good.

Have you tried re syncing with Subtitle Workshop? Opensubs has a working .srt file for Europa ’51, have you tried that one?

I just checked, my version of the film runs 1:48:24, not 1:52. And Like2Sleep, I’m trying to find English subs. I just tried the subs from OpenSubtitle and it seems to be the same problem.
