Damn, I guess I’ll have to upgrade for “Pierrot Le Fou” – it’ll look amazing in blu-ray. Just wish they hadn’t cancelled the blu-ray of “Contempt”.
It seems like they keep switching out bluray titles for certain directors. First it was Kurosawa and now Godard (or, at least, as Ian made it seem). Oh well. I want to get Pierrot in Bluray. That would look absolutely fantastic. I mean, the standard def looks great alone, but on blray it would look phenomenal.
Good thing my birthday is in September. The Human Condition looks awesome as hell.

Yeah I’ll have to upgrade mine too. I’ll probably still keep the DVD copy too to loan out to folks to educate the mon some Godard. But yes, WHEN can we get “Contempt” on blu-ray? I am foaming at the mouth for some Brigette Bardot in 1080p!
That’s really irritating. I bought the DVD only a few months ago.
I know that’s a major reason I have limited my criterion and DVD buying… I’m waiting for them to double dip on blu ray.
