Hey Droogies! As many of you already know (since it has been the only thing I have been talking about this past year) I’m currently in production for my first feature film called SPIDARLINGS, a tongue-in-cheek Horror Musical filled with extravagant dance numbers, bloody carnage, giant spiders, fake eye-lashes and hot punk girls drinking bath-water… But in spite of all the crazy stuff it’s also a very personal story about sleeping rough and broken dreams as well as being a satire about the social income support and housing benefit system in the U.K.
We produced the movie so far on our own by selling our house in Greece and investing our life savings, but now in mid-production we found ourselves almost broke (but still loving every moment of it) In spite of our Nano budget, we are committed to creating an outstanding high quality film and have managed to get the best actors and artists such as Rusty Goffe (Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Star Wars, and Harry Potter) Alternative Model and Actress Sophia Disgrace (Three’s a Shroud, Kung Fu and Titties, The Shadow of Death) renowned Greek TV and Theatre actor Theofilos Vandoros (Singles, Ambitions, Vice Squad) and Britain’s Drag Queen sensation, the fanatabulous Tiffaney Wells in her acting debut.
We have already shot most of the film, but we still need to shoot several special effects and dance scenes as well as pay for recording studio costs and of course edit the film and pay for post-production and we simply can’t do it without your help!
We are now trying our luck with IndieGoGo and we have a bunch of great perks to give away, including posters, T-shirts, original props, Signed books and DVD’s as well as the chance to get listed on IMDb as a producer.
