You’re going to think it’s strange that I would post this, but no I don’t know of any cinema podcasts. I’m really not a podcast kind of person. Sorry. And ‘hello.’
hello my friend
Well G.T. De Fontenoy Died for us, my favorite podcast is by far The Film Talk with Jett Loe and Gareth Higgins. They have a unique chemistry and are both very knowledgeable about all kinds of cinema.
The Criterion Cast also might be a good fit for you if you like stuff from the Criterion Collection. They are not the most knowledgeable but they are getting better and if you like the films they discuss you will probably like it.
Battleship Pretension is a fantastic show on Cinema and everything going on in the life of the two hosts. They have great guests and talk about everything under the sun.
Try an episode of each of these podcasts and get back to me on what you think.
criterion cast is definitely well meaning but they are still a bit green in content and production and battleship pretension seem to enjoy current television so i am against them but i am goint to check out the film talk thanks
Cool, I am a younger guy so I enjoy people around my level of film knowledge discussing cinema. The Film Talk is very good, I really hope you enjoy that one. They are both over 35 and work in the film industry. Hope you find what your looking for in a podcast. I am considering starting my own next year.
Battleship Pretention is the only one I like. Check out the archives for better episodes.
Testing.

are there any reccomendations on good film podcasts and by good i mean much better than garbage like filmspotting where two unqualified and uninformed hosts talk about pointless cinema
