Dirtybee, warm and sunny here but still sounds good.
WELLS_91, yeah I like that.
@Downbylaw, -10 degrees here these days (which is great, since it was -20 :p) and a lot of snow. my favorite winter song (have a feeling that you’ll like it):
@Downbylaw, Yeah, I think Flying Lotus is a great producer. And Miguel Atwood recomposes this track for a live performance perfectly.
Another track great, suited for a rainy day in the urban streets of the UK. Quite a bit different from Dirtybee’s.
@Dirtybee and WELLS_91, yeah those both seem to fit your weather. Not sure I could ever get enthused for it being only -10 degrees. Would take a bit of rain since it’s been such a dry winter.
Well, it’s sunny here, and while not quite this warm, here’s Grouplove Naked Kids:
Para mi hermano, R_____:
Well yes, what you know, we finally get some rain tonight. I’ll follow WELLS_91 lead and give you this for some shiny nighttime streets:
My San Francisco Bay area neighbor, Eskmo “Moving Glowstream”:
@Downbylaw, Considering Britain’s well know for it’s rain, it’s been pretty dry here for quite a while. I’m sure we’ll get bucket loads now i’ve said that though. I really like the percussive samples on that track…..tastey
it’s sunny here :)

Sentimental Russian music for DirtyBee:
Double post (hm, how do I delete those?) Something else instead for now then:

This song is one of my biggest guilty pleasures ever! I just LOVE how…beautifully campy it is!
I’m noticing a pattern here. In nearly every big 80’s power ballad/movie theme, there’s always a kick-ass sax solo in the middle of it. If it was up to me, I would absolutely bring that back! In fact, if I ever make a movie in the future, I would put one of those in during the climax or the credits or something! I mean, COME ON! I SERIOUSLY can’t be the only person who thinks this!
Ooh… I like that Grouplove song :)
Here’s some VUM for y’all:
Yeah, I discovered Grouplove when they were an opening act last fall. They got some songs I like and are lots of fun. Even named their album “Never Trust a Happy Song”, so there. I’m looking forward to seeing them again this spring.
Intriguing choreography on that Vum video. Looks like Vum only plays down in the L.A. area. If they came up here, I’d go see them.
Somebody else from down there who I wish would come up to the Bay is Giant Drag. Gotta love a song that ends with “meows”:
They’re back and I hope they’’ll at least have the decency to try and be the new White Stripes or smth. I could totally use a new White Stripes. I miss those pricks
