All the clouds turn to words
All the words float in sequence
No one knows what they mean
Everyone just ignores them

Eno at his best. Turn it up, close your eyes, and wait for the lyrics. I don’t know how many times I listened to this while under the influence of something or other.

You wouldn’t believe how many mixtapes I put this track into:

A quote from a friend: “Don’t ever make a mixtape for a girl. All that shows them is how much of a loser you really are.” The Galaxie 5 hundy never goes over well :/

@Roger: i don’t think i could discuss about it, personnally i’m not really a big fan of this style, even if i like some Ulver or Burzum sometimes! Lately I liked Megafauna by Yoga, i know it’s an american band and there are elements from black metal in their music even if it’s mixed with some dark ambient.

I like American black metal a hell of a lot better. Yoga is an amazing project btw.

the My Castle of Quiet on WFMU archive, awesome show dedicated to “Creepy prog rock, eerie electronics, soundtracks, horrorscapes™, and a deluge of black metal and noise”, hosted by this cool old dude, it always makes me happy when old people listen to stuff like this, and not just classic rock or whatever, awesome, awesome show; you can listen to the whole archive here:

Rainbow In The Dark by Dio

I have just heard that Ronnie James Dio has died today, so i thought it would fitting to play this.
