A great record! It got me through a really rough time of psychic disequilibrium. Trouble is, I haven’t been able to really listen to it since then.
Isis – The Pink Floyd of metal. This song is the closing track on “Oceanic.” At 4:37, the spacey, proggy magic, reminiscent of Floyd, Crimson or Yes, begins and leads you into one of the best things to ever happen to metal (beginning at 7:04.) Play loud!
@K.J. – I’ve had a similar experience (but instead of it being with an album, it was with a video game strangely enough ha.) Hopefully it will wear off and you can try listening to it again soon, because that disc is incredible!

I’m currently alternating the new Joanna Newsom record and the Charles Darwin inspired opera ‘Tomorrow, in a Year’ by the Knife, Mt. Sims and Planningtorock. This track is the standout for me.
