The Golden Globes are tonight. What are your predictions
I predict it will be an incredibly boring non-event.
^Correct.
with Ricky Gervais hosting, the globes will be anything but boring. He was hilarious last year. He pumped new life into an otherwise boring, predictable awards show. I am actually excited to see the opening monologue.
I think Gervais’s humor will Hollywood into place like he did last year. Boy did he liven up all the stiffs in that room.
Midnight in Paris will win along with The Descendants
dont feel like typing the rest of the predictions
I can’t directly put this picture here, because imdb is a pain in the ass, but look at this handsome fellow on the red carpet.

@Dennis Brian
As much as I love Woody Allen, I think “The Artist” was more original and unique, which should give it an edge to win Best Comedy. War Horse looks more epic in scale than The Descendants, and epics have always had an edge (eg. Babel, Avatar). The Help also has a chance at winning, because of the slew of awards it won at the BFCA on Thursday. But you never know how these award show results. They can surprise you.
