There is Batman Returns and then there’s everything else.

If someone wanted to get sensitive information out of me, a good torture technique would be to place me in a room with a constant loop of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Alice in Wonderland.

The only ones I really care about…

Though I enjoy most of his films up through Sleepy Hollow on some level.

Also, whatever happened to Michael Keaton? I know he still acts, but I haven’t seen him in anything since Jackie Brown. Was it an intentional move to get out of the spotlight?

Does this thread make anyone laugh all this shit out of your mouth, or is it just me? Granted not everything he made good, but come on. He’s probably one of the best directors to use a computer, and the look of his films, he has everything. Who cares about plot, Burton is this generations Bruce Connor.

I’m pretty harsh on him sometimes but for my money he has 5 really watchable films.

1. Ed Wood
2. Pee Wee’s Big Adventure
3. Beetlejuice
4. Batman Returns
5. Sleepy Hollow

Then ‘Mars Attacks’ has a special place in my heart and his short ‘Vincent’ is a delight. Everything else ranges from shallow to god awful.
