Reincarnation in cinema

I’m in need of some sweet inspiration – can anyone recommend great films on the subject of reincarnation or rebirth?

Right now, I have nothing, although Jay Baruchel believed he was the reincarnation of Leon Trotsky in The Trotsky , but I suspect you’re looking for something more meaningful.

Sure!
Francis Ford Coppola’s “Youth without youth”
Jonathan Glazer’s “Birth”
Robert Wise’s “Audrey Rose”
Safy Nebbou’s “L’empreinte de l’ange”
Alfred Hitchock’s “Vertigo”
Dominik Moll’s “Lemming”
Kenneth Branagh’s “Dead again”
These are some of the ones I saw that have reincarnation/rebirth as a theme.

Gaspar Noe’s Enter the Void is the most recent & possibly the most
thorough manifestation of a consistent perspective of reincarnation.

Eliseo Subiela’s Don’t Die Without Telling Me Where You’re Going.

Bunjee jumping of their own. Korean. Also qualifies for worst film title ever.

Wow, such voluminous responses in such a short amount of time! Thanks a lot guys, for some reason my brain just wasn’t working this morning. I’ve seen a few of these – even Bungee Jumping Of Their Own, which I agree is dreadfully titled. Enter The Void is probably closest to what I need… if only it would come to a cinema near me…

I know Keyser already said it, but if you can, see Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives. It’s a gem. Very meditative as one would expect from Weerasethakul.
