Man, ages ago I saw an old movie on the Sci Fi channel (back when, you know, it was spelled correctly) about a man who turned slowly into a reptile, complete with peeling skin et al. It was an awesome show and I think about it often enough but I never remembered what it was called.
There are also lizard-men being sorta “koopas” in Super Mario Bros. The Movie. But, well, that movie being fun in its own way I STILL do not know if it is all helpful for the purpose of this thread. I mean, technically the lizard men are there, but what does that inclusion offer to your ideas?

How can Bob ever leave the memory, ever not be one of the superlative referents of slinky slithering creatures. A couch with a coffee table always has the possibility of Bob crawling behind form each to get taste of you. Having seen Rescuers Down Under far before Twin Peaks, I always associated Bob with the Reptile Man from this children’s movie, who was possibly based off of Bob. There’s always been a fascination with the Rescuers Down Under because of this character, and some interest in men who are portrayed as leashing a reptile, and the fear of that man being released himself. The man in Herzog’s Fata Morgana reminded me of these two characters. I would like help creating a list of others Reptilian Men, found in movies.
1. Twin Peaks
2. The Rescuers Down Under
3. Fata Morgana
