I have very fond memories of this movie, but I haven’t seen it in a while. I was also blown away by his performance. I’ve always been a fan of Ray Winstone too.
It was nice to see Kingsley’s performance. I very well rounded character that took him out of his calm demeanor…
I think I remember this one. If I remember correctly, didn’t the dialogue go something like, “You motherfucking scumsucking cocksucking son of a whore! I’m going to kill you motherfucking hard! Rip out your fucking eyes, pry off your skull cap and scoop your brains out with a spoon and eat them for lunch!”
Yeah, that was cool. Seriously! Kingsley can make any character sing.
Great film all the way around.
Kingsley was nominated for best supporting actor for his role as Don Logan. I remember a review that called Don Logan “The Anti-Gandhi.”

My favorite delivery of any line in this movie is Kingsley’s, “Louse.” It slowly rolls off his tongue and comes out like, “Laos.” I mean, it’s gorgeous, in its own way.
Sexy beast was good – Kingsley has been in so many mediocre roles of late, he deserves better.
Birth was so so so terrible, most anti-climatic ridiculous ending ever.
Kingsley’s in Scorsese’s Shutter Island. Hope that turns out well.
