that one is for july. there’s a new one every month.

But if you want this done soon, you might try something else. It takes a really long time.

Ot if you want it to be seen, you can submit it to the garage, which may not be something that you want to do.

Yeah I haven’t looked too much into IMDB because I think there’s a monthly fee or something. There’s always something to try and get money out of you there.

IMDB Pro offers a 2 week free trial so maybe that’s a good enough window to get in there.

Take a look at their site map. It’s relatively user unfriendly and difficult to break down, but it is free. All you need is a regular account. The short film has to follow certain minimum requirements to be featured — it has to have had a budget over $500 (which honestly, true story, you can just lie. ‘Yeah I spent $500 on this, what?’), be shown in an IMDb recognized festival (basically, a festival with a certain audience size), usually has to have its own webpage and it helps to have awards and such. Basically, all things to determine that the IMDb isn’t wasting its time throwing every YouTube video in existence up on their site.

But it can be done, because I’ve done it I went in a back door route through Withoutabox.com. Since you seem interested in really officiating your short film, I would recommend you give WithoutaBox a look, as well as other festival submission types. Get the movie seen by paying audiences not related to you, and you can get your movie on the IMDb.
