:/
you can always join in the discussion late Natasha
We need a womans viewpoint on a lesbian themed film made by a man
Should I add the May schedule to the database? Or is this too early?
add it
someone should submit Testament onto the database for the sake of making the list a kick ass list
Add it!!
Testament is already in database:
http://www.theauteurs.com/films/8561
Testament was submitted. I added it to the list yesterday to see if it is on here because I didn’t get any results searching for it. Then I deleted it off the list. I have it on my want to watch list.
cool!
who is doing the write up for Opening Night this Friday?
Stephen—Would you like this one?? Maybe Salem??
Personal Best is a solid film, honest and well made. (is that a spoiler?)
Stephen will create the thread tomorrow night!
:)
Hey Guys,
I will be joining your film discussion for Autonomy of Hell. I don’t think I can make it for tomorrow.
Anyways nice to meet you all and I am looking forward to discussing some amazing films with your guys.
glad to hear it Boris.
The more the merrier.
Welcome aboard Boris!
Also thanks to Stephen for taking over hosting the Opening Night discussion.
New theme proposal for a week in June: Child Stars- yay or nay?
yay
@ Salem: sounds good to me!
Thanks for introducing yourself, Boris! Glad to have you join us!
I want to add silent film too.
yay to salem
yay to natasha’s suggestion
yay to everyone on this board
I second that yay – A silent film would be awesome! Any choices in mind?
I’d like to recommend The Rain People for your viewing pleasure some time in June
sounds good imo June is potentially shaping up:
a child star pick from Salem
a silent from Natahsa
and The Rain People (what genre would u classify that in?)
I would like animation somewhere along the way. And it needs to be a good animated film. I usually hate animation, but diversity is best.
Also, I like the discussions so far for June. Child star will be interesting and silent films are always a pleasure. Rain People, I’ve seen and I’m not crazy about. I’ll watch it again, but nothing can really change my opinion of Coppola unless he remade War and Peace (the Russian one) shot to shot.
dp
The Rain People is one of the few Coppola’s I have not seen yet, so sounds good to me.
Venus Sands
Yes sir! I’ll post a schedule soon. Check back!
