We have just launched an indiegogo fundraising campaign for the new short film by the Ottawa based director, John Graham, whose previous film MOVE (2011) received the Best Experimental Film Award from Brooklyn Film Festival last year. As an artist who has recently made foray into the film-making, Graham creates a visionary world that to some degree refers us back to works of masters such as Svankmajer and Quay brothers. Although Canada has a reputation as a site of experimental filmmaking, nobody usually thinks of Ottawa with its limited filmmaking activities in this respect and so the local filmmakers has invariably skipped the international spotlight.
