Great doc. Worth checking out. It’s on twice too, from the schedule listings.
Absolutely Great Doc, the director did a great job.
I also really liked Stanley Kubrick’s Boxes which is a great documentary that examines his precision and intricacy in film making and in life. He kept endless amounts of notes, and pictures from all of his preproduction work, including films that were never made, and he kept absolutely everything he wrote down. The director goes to his home in england to find that there are literally hundreds maybe even thousands of boxes of his notes. They are mostly kept in a trailer that was purchased specifically for these boxes!
The boxes were later donated to a school in London where students can go look through the boxes (and mind) of one of the worlds greatest directors. It’s really interesting stuff.
