Looks like the cover of a really cheesy romance novel in which the female protagonist is trying to find herself. I know they meant to portray her as a memory with the faded image but it comes off as just…bad.
Doesn’t negate my love for the film though.
The DVD edition cover was much better than this one. Then again, the contents are what really matter.
Yeah, I’m disappointed with the cover change too. I really look forward to this, though! Now we just need Stalker on Blu-Ray…

I’m a big Tarkovsky fan and once again Criterion is offering us a treat with the announced Blu-Ray release of “Solaris”. Is anyone out there eager to see this one?
