I like the trend of songs that became more associated with films they’re not originally from, like “Singin’ in the Rain” in A Clockwork Orange. Does anybody know of any others?
Another example of this would be Yumeji’s Theme in In The Mood for Love, which was originally composed for Seijun Suzuki’s Yumeji
Also, another question I have you for you guys is do you think having the song played more than once or having the song play over the film’s trailer makes you associate the song with the film more? Or is it just the strength of the scene its used in?
