migraine, odi? j/k, it’s very atmospheric :)
Yes, I was just about to tell you to open this thread. I think I will make something for it tonight.
Cheerio,

Awesome, Odi! I’ll have to find 60 seconds or less for this thread.
Yay!
Yes Ruby, it is akin to a migraine! lol Don’t worry about kidding, this is not a HIGHLY SERIOUS thread — it’s meant to be like STL, anything, everything, and all in good spirits! :)
BTW, it is TOTALLY doable to do video responses to one another. So, for example, Ruby sees my “Tim Burton Mood” video as a migraine, she films a bottle of medicine.
All in the name of FUN! And cameras! And FILMMAKING!!!! (yes, I LOVE making films, anywhere, anyhow, any way)
And btw, I filmed this with Photo Booth on my iMac using one effect. SUPER simple.
Response will be ready in, knowing Vimeo, two hours (one hour to load, another half an hour to queue, some time to transfer, and king me). Hopefully you will notice my join request by then and I can share it on that page.

And from hereon out, I will attempt to refrain from ever responding to any of this thread in text format.

This is a badass idea, Odi. Looks like I might have to do that, myself! :D Too bad I don’t know things that I never brought up on StL!, because I’ve brought up, like, everything. :(

This is a link to STL and a departure, Zach. Think of it as remembering the past (or not), and moving forward (always).
Lol, DiB!
Yes, I will also attempt to refrain from words and stick to video only from this point forward, the STL Video Pledge!
Why is mine so damn out of focus? Shot it with my phone. Might be why. I’ll try to do better.
Right back at ya, House!

Oooooo! Now I gotta get crackin’ on a response!
Things people made are always in the sky as well as on the ground. One cannot escape movement anywhere in LA.

Dammit… it’s 61 seconds. Sorry.
dude that was creepy as fuck!
edit: sorry for rude language :P
Oh my God — you are an expert at suspense and horror!!! WOW!
Take THAT, Drunken Father Figure Of Old! (you guys are keeping me busy, lol)
This is my favorite thread in the world.
:D
Your turn to post, House!
Okay then. Playing with geometry.
All Innarist
Kyool!!!! :D
I really like your last one. ;)
EDIT: My brother has my camera, but we’re hooking up on Thursday to shoot some things, and I’m cobbling together some more substantial shorts as well as a trailer for my feature.
Fantastic!
Yes, my last one was a bit…. ;)
Leavesy, I was going to ask you how your feature has been going. Looks like I simply forgot. :(
These are really cool, guys. I’d like to do one soon… I just have a really hard time finding the right form for the subject sometimes. Or, rather, the right subject for the form. :/

A bit great, Odi. One of my favorites of all your work.
It’s been fun playing around with my phone and the restrictions thereof. I feel much more comfortable showing here that kind of raw footage than the other work I’m spending more time on, which is why I love this thread. It allows us to free up and play a little (though kudos to Drunken Father who obviously put a little more time in the editing room [especially with sound] that I have so far in this thread).
Much love for all of this stuff. Keep it coming.
Zax: I’m doing two things—refining my style and looking for funding. I have set a time limit for myself on the funding front—if I can’t find it I’ll try the guerrilla route. Of course there is no time limit for the style portion. I’ll be working on that forever.

Here it is, the discussion topic I threatened to post before page 5000 on STL.
Vimeo link here (you can join this group, or post your video from your own account on youtube, vimeo, wherever).
Rules: 60 seconds or less, describing something you’d like to express on STL but in video format instead!! Try not to do voiceover if you can…
Anything else is just fine!
Here’s my first video:
