My list wasn’t top 10 Criterions before they were Criterions, it was list the Criterions you have seen before they were Criterion. i just sat through the first page of threads and OH MY GOD there are alot of Benjamin Button threads! we need this thread, everyone. those of us who need a release from the Benjamin Button threads need to keep this one alive because MY GOD, for a movie everyone hates so much people can’t seem to stop talking about it…

This used to be a site where one could come to talk about films. Important films, and have a meaningful conversation about them. If you look back at the older Benjamin Button posts you will see people both arguing for and against the film to great effect, but, now, people like you treat this site like it’s IMDb, or Youtube and have destroyed what was once my favourite place to be on the internet. If you want to go on a Benjamin Button thread and actually give an argument for why you did or didn’t like it that’s fine, but just saying “hated it” or “it’s a joke” is crap, and just stirs people up, and clogs the forum. It’s not a matter of whether it was a funny joke or not, but that there are many people on this site that want to treat film as a serious art, and would like to discuss it as such. There are plenty of threads that are based completely on joking, this thread is a great example, post on those threads if you want to make people laugh.
