Josh, I have the boxset! but haven’t had a chance to watch it yet. I planning on continuing Dekalog and Twin Peaks…. I also have Climates and Fat Girl (free from The Auteurs) and about 6 more movies to choose from…. I also have Last Year in Marienbad…. it going to be tough choosing but the week end is coming up!!!!

I was surprised to find out it had fewer episodes than Scenes from a Marriage, unfortunately I’ll have to wait several days before I get the next two episodes. ]:\
I need to try to see some of those free films before they’re down. I wanna try to catch Happy Together especially so I can contribute something to the WKW disucssion otherwise it will be like I’m in a band of outsiders.

I watched a very good cuban film Memories of Underdevelopment one of the best films I’ve seen in my life. The one thing that I saw that was made in USA was Logorama… its a very nice short, nothing like what I was expecting. Happy Together is one of WKW’s strongest imo, but I hear good things about Climates and Fat Girls… Amacord looks pretty cool too. I don’t think Harakiri and L’aventura need a rewatch yet.
By the way Memories of Underdevelopment is on youtube if you want to check it out, you can also look for it under Memorias del Subdesarrollo. I did 2 very extensive image post on this film. I think it deserves some attention. I haven’t stopped thinking about it since I watched it.
Berjuan: Yes I noticed your image post. ;) What is MoU about? Maybe I’ll look it up later today, hopefully I won’t need a detective to find it. If I watch it, I hope it will leave me breathless.
I’ve heard good things about Fat Girl too, but I’m not extremely interested in seeing it, to be honest. o_o
MoU… is a very original film Josh its political ala JLG, its surreal ala Bunuel, its part documentary ala Chris Marker, its the story of a man growing more and more distant from hiimself ala Camus, from his coulture, from his country… The film itsefl is so well done. I don’t have a top 10 right now but I was going to consider a latin american film MoU would be it. You know what forget WKW. Watch MoU!

I look back at things like this and am really shocked tha movies like this were once the pinnacle of comedy for me.
