it’s quite possible that we are more aware and more critical of women’s body types than men are. after all this kind of photoshop is mostly done in fashion magazines and women’s advertisements. damn u, society!

I didn’t see a difference because I choose not to. I don’t have a standard for women because I believe it’s unattainable in an acceptable society.

And the difference in those paintings is there to highlight the stupid norms perpetuated by the modern fashion industry, which is an institution I find completely ridiculous, anyway. Is there anything less worthwhile than Oscar fashion shows?
